WE CAN'T WAIT TO WELCOME YOU!

"Nothing is beautiful enough for the worker who has had to live without beauty for so long."

The name Het Arbeiderspaleis (Workers' Palace) is a nod to the opposite residential building Het Schip by architect Michel de Klerk (1884-1923), which is also popularly called the 'workers' palace'. De Klerk designed unprecedented luxurious and affordable homes for his time for Amsterdam (port) workers, who previously lived under appalling (housing) conditions.

The motto of De Klerk was: "Nothing is beautiful enough for the worker who has had to live without beauty for so long." Isn't that beautiful? And we translate this motto to the 21st century.

Nothing is beautiful enough for the co-worker who has had to live without beauty for so long. An affordable co-workspace with meeting room.

About us

We are a group of freelancers who were looking for an affordable co-workspace. A cool place where you can meet other creative people. A place where you have a sounding board when you need it. Where you can collaborate and come up with new ideas. Where you get help when you're stuck. An atmospheric place where you can also relax and have fun! We couldn't find such a place, so we started the Arbeiderspaleis ourselves. A social enterprise and a social hub for creative minds. We are always looking for great people like you. Will you join our network?
